Why Inner Traditions Healing (ITH), you may ask?
This site is about healing that begins with internal or inner self. The type of healing that occurs with proven, traditional methodical system or ways taught.
First, of course we have the traditional, herbal medicine path, as long as the herbs or plant is actually helpful and helps to heal the patient or sick person. Nowadays, one has to be more careful
This site may differ in opinion to other traditional veterans in that as long s it helps the patient in the long term in a sustainable way without too detrimental a side-effect and there is no other alternative but to take modern medication or methods of healing or curing, then by all means take it! One should not refuse to take a good, wholesome medication as prescribed by a reliable medical professional for an accurate diagnosis that will most likely help or heal the patient than not. Just be sensible and make your own best judgement of it, but just not at the cost of not accepting authentic treatment that can help the patient heal or recover. If for some reason one is not able to accept such treatment e.g. due to a prohibitive high cost, then by all means seek a cheaper and yet natural alternative if possible or seek financial help for the treatments. Just do something, take action or don’t give up. Think about the people who cared and loved you.

ITH just proposes some general common-sense or general knowledge or dispels general misconceptions to promote good health and lifestyle, that’s ‘it.
Like taking organic herbal medicine for common ailments before seeking modern medication if there’s no other alternatives. And doing more exercise, and not let lack of gym or ideal workout equipment be an excuse not to take up natural alternative such body weight training e.g. push-ups and squatting, brisk or stair walks.
Some quick steps that may help improve your physical well-being
- 3 push-ups a day
- 10 squats daily
- More greens, vegetables, fruits for a balanced diet
- 3 Dumbbell lifts or more
- 3 Star jumps a day.
- Various muscle stretches
No hard and fast rule, just pick whatever is comfortable and fits your schedule. If you can afford it, why not take a vacation once in a while, probably for a beach activity or any harmless outdoor activity.
Modern lifestyle also has options and ways to help improve and monitor our health. For example, iPhones has the Nike+ Running App and Instant HeartRate App. If you are constantly travelling and on the move, driving your car between cites and states, it may be a good idea to install connector for your Smartphone. Even social networks such as Facebook and Twitter can help us to help us reach out emotionally and assist our professional business.
People may forget how important parents, family, friends or others are. How often do we drop-by for a surprise visit, or just say something kind yet true to our colleagues, or just donate for an authentic needy program. Well, we can all do something good for others as long as it’s naturally and wholesome, i guess, that is we do natural good without any negative aspect or element. Personally I would say , if unsure, better not. Yeah, not everyone may agree, but in this time and day where daylight robbery and scams are not unheard of, be generous but be smart about it though, we want to support good, not bad, right?
And oh, probably the one best I humbly ask or share (not preach) as an average guy with everyone that may help is this: Be kind, a good person!
A little kindness shown to someone can really make someone’s day or a difference to him/her. A simple gesture of kindness, a kind word, a good deed, or even a positive thought! Even if just doing one bit more a day, i think that’s important, I hope you will agree too. Of course, a kind act should be done without any expectation of any returns whatsoever.
Some may prefer to be vegetarian, or promote like the meet your meat movement. Well, the intention or idea is to be compassionate to others including animals. There are many vegetarian options if you decide to take this path: Greens, fruits, nuts, potatoes, beans, plant powder, natural green supplements, tea, soya …
Again, ITH is not meant to preach or teach, just to share some common sense and hopefully inspire good intentions in others; Let’s make this world a better place to live in!
